Funky Fairy Halloween Challenge
Hi there,
My mojo has completely disappeared so I'm having a go at some challenges again to see if I can find it. First up is Funky fairys challenge which is to use the free halloween papers they are giving away, you can find the link on thier blog. I've made another of the diaper treat pouches as they are so quick and easy. I stamped the image onto silver mirri card using stazon which gives an interesting semi transluscent effect although it doesn't really show on the photo. Mind you took a while to dry lol.

No cards allowed !
Hi there,
Another week gone by and I couldn't resist the Penny Black Saturday challenge which is to make anything except a card. This treat pouch immediately sprang to mind. I've seen them on lots of blogs but I followed the directions on splitcoast stampers for the diaperfold pouch.

Penny black saturday challenge
Hi there,
Another challenge this time PBSC - sketch 2. Still in the mood for christmas cards so used this image of "snowy". It is lightly coloured with shimmer chalks, I'm finding chalks are really versatile i love them, then double mounted. There is a glittery strip behind the punched border but it doesn't show to well in the photo.

DCM Scrumdiddlyumptious
Hi all,
Watched a video on youtube yesterday by chicnscratch on how to make popsicle cards( not her invention, she says she sees them all over so don't know who made the first one) and then came across the DCM challenge Scrumdiddlyumptious which said
" All things foodie - feature a food you associate with summer and sunny days (just to remind us of those summer feelings)"
Well I just had to make a popsicle card, one of those blue ice lollies that kids love so much but mums hate because everything goes blue!! Did a little joke twist though (so may be disqualified) as what else do most crafters associate with summer ?? .... Christmas cards of course!
I decorated my ice lolly with a snowflake and a seasonal greeting just for a laugh, this is my very first christmas card of the year and I may even send it just to confuse someone lol!!
Card stock bazzil Bling
Ribbon a selection at hobbycraft ( can't you tell that whenever I go to this shop I always buy ribbon)

CCT "the two of us"
Hi all,
well amazingly enough I finally found time to craft just for me and am entering this for the Cute Card Thursday challenge which was to use two people, two animals or one of each! This stamp seemed appropriate although don't ask me the name (its obviously a penny black) as I recieved this image in a swap. The background paper is also annonymous as I got this as a PIF gift. I can tell you however that the ribbon is K&Co but thats about it lol.
I have many peeloffs that I never use, some bought and some free gifts or part of goodie bags, so I have finally started to use some. I didn't think these corners looked to bad. Finally my apologies for the attempt at a "distressed ink look" around the edge of the card. Always looks fab on other folks blogs but can't quite get the hang of it
Oh and no I wasn't drunk when I took this photo even though its really squiffy . I even used my mini tripod and a flat surface, honest I have no idea what happened lol !!

Well finally managed to finish this for my friends 40th birthday, just as well as we are all going out tonite to celebrate!
I saw the idea on okieladybugs blog and decided it was perfect as my friend loves all things sparkly. Used my cropadile to set eyelets in the tin bucket and attached flowers through these with brads. Assorted ribbon is tied around the handle. The big 40 was cut with george and the design studio, whilst the smaller shapes were cut with my sidekick.

Crafty Goodies
Hi there,
Not had any time to craft for a week but hopefully be able to post something new later. In the mean time look what I got in the post yesterday.
I entered a card for CCT challenge 14 and was lucky enough to have my card picked. These goodies are from Tracy Janes Crafts and they are scrummy.

Penny Black Saturday challenge
Hi there,
Just found time to make a card for the new Penny Black Saturday Challenge blog using a sketch by Di Hickman. As its their first week the challenge was to use your very first PB stamp. Mine was "Buzz in the air! " and hopping around seems this was a popular stamp. I deliberatly frayed the edges of the ribbon as its very thick, the idea was to make it 'tasselly' but think I might need to trim that again. I also seem to be obsessesed with scallop circles lately!
ribbon from a selection at hobbycraft
This card below is the very first card I made with my very 1st PB stamp lol.

I tell you she is one clever lady and certainly inspires me to use my babybug more. The main stamp set is loads of love from stampin up! and the swirls are studio G. Paper is dovecraft.
Again photographed ( not scanned!) with our new camera. Woo hoo can't wait until I learn how to use it properly not just point and shoot. Mind you I could be waiting a long time lol!

Pif Gifts and Cute card thursday
Hi there,
Made these today.
Made these today.
Totally cased the pif wallet design from the one Alex sent me but gave mine an oriental feel as been wanting to play with my new woodware stamps but first chance I've had. So one of these will be winging its way to my pif girls as soon as I get them in the post.
I'm entering these for the cutecard thursday challenge this week which is to use three different embellishments on your card. I've used gems, a brad and flowers on each of them.
Best of all though I actually managed to photograph these not scan them! Woo hoo we finally got a new camera a Nikon of some sort ( sorry not technically minded if I was talking about a car and you asked me what make it was I'd probably say blue lol!)

Pay it Forward
Hi there,
What a bad blogger I have been lately but with half term and relatives staying I haven't had time for anything. Anyway to the point of this post, look what I recieved at the weekend from the lovely Alex.

There are some gorgeous papers and loads of images including the new kerry jo doodles, how fab is that! This lovely parcel was a pass it forward gift which means its now my turn to pass on some of my goodies to the first three people who leave a comment on this post.
RULES: The first three people to post a comment will recieve a PIF gift from me ( some printed and stamped images and some papers). Then these people need to pass a gift forward (PIF) to three other people, does that explain it to everyone? You MUST have a blog to do this AND you MUST pass this onto three people.

Holidays
Hi there,
This card is made for cutecard thursday who said "Make your card with a vacation, holiday or travel theme". Apology's for the photo still not got a new camera and couldn't scan it due to the large embellishments. The bikini is paper pieced but it doesn't show up to well. The blue shell is off a childs bracelet and picked up the flip flops at a craft show. Added a few raindrop gems as it's a UK holiday and I reckcon the image counts as cute because any bikini that small has got to be cute lol!

Animalia
Hi there,
This card is for daringcardmakers challenge this week. Mel set the challenge inspired by the book by Graeme Base called 'Animalia' . This is also an animated series which my boys both love and is being rerun at the moment so I had to have a go. The image is by the talented Kerry Jo who just has a new line of stamps out. She gave this image away a while ago on her blog and this was the perfect oppourtunity to use it. The giraffe paper is by Marie Stones and is avaliable for free here. The flowers and accent sticker are papermania. I think this giraffe looks like he's enjoying his flowery lunch lol.

Penny black
HI There,
A very quick card today ( about 20 mins worth which is super quick for me) for the Penny Black S challenge over on Docrafts. The extra challenge was to use chalks so I stamped the image (strange brew) with a clear embossing ink and coloured it with chalks to make it pop. Spooky was cut on the cricut. Backing paper Mad about Cards.

In the Garden
Hi there
This card is for the cutecard thursday challenge in the garden. I used this tilda image that I recieved in a forum swap. Silly me though didn't think about the garland until I had already started cutting out the image so I cut out the flowers and drew the garland back in with a gel pen. The image is a bit blurred as I couldn't get it to scan straight so I resorted to my camera and all the pictures I take are blurred, thats why I make cards and don't scrap lol. You can't see it but the little message inside the shaker flower says 'garden' but not a chance I'd ever get that in focus.

Funky Fairy Meets Dottie!
Hi there,
Wow can't believe I haven't managed to blog for a week (a lot going on at home) but at last a day to call my own. I made this card for Funky fairies challenge where Han said:
"I decided to do something with Dots, hence the title "Going Dotty". Just use some kind of dots or spots on your projects."
Well what other image could I use for this than Dottie by Louise Brigden. I printed the sentiment arrows using word art and the green rings and dots are hole reinforcers . I doodled around the edge of the card and doodled dots onto the sentiment arrows. The spotty circles and frame are funky fairy Doodlementals . I toyed with the idea of putting get well soon on the front but decided to put get well soon on the inside instead.

Dottie!
Hi there,
Well my very first dottie card! I made this along the lines of a female theme for Cutecard thursday using the sketch from Mypaper world. A very quick card as I'm shattered but I just had to play with my new Dottie downloads. Printed and punched a couple of flowers as I didn't have any that would go, I definately need to invest in some more flowers for my stash.
Cardstock: craft central and bazzil bling
Patterened paper: mad about cards
